Matt Mayberry Continues Message of Success after the NFL

Mayberry was signed by the National Football League Chicago Bears in 2010. After reaching the pinnacle of his sport, he suffered a life changing ankle injury. It was this event that inspired Mayberry to embrace his true passion of helping others, through personal coaching, development and motivational messages.

Mayberry was team captain at Hinsdale South High School, and became highly recruited by universities across the country, through hard work and diligence. He ultimately chose Indiana University where he was team captain from 2009-2010, earning All Big-Ten honors in his senior season, and lead the Hoosiers in tackles in his junior and senior years. Mayberry was awarded team recipient for the prestigious Howard Brown Award, which exemplifies leadership, courage and work ethic. Mayberry is currently Indiana University’s record holder for most sacks in a single game.
